How did the American Revolution change America?
The American Revolution did not only change America, it changed the rest of the world as well. The American Revolution has marked the initiation of a new nation, that was founded on new political ideas of self-government. This led to the swift colonisation and later the industrialisation of the American continent.
What change took place before the revolution?
Before the revolution, the British America governed the 13 colonies of America overseas without any representation of the British Empire. They were both taxed and treated in a unfair way. The colonies altogether had joined together to stop the British Governing them and the Revolutionary War was the Result.
Overall change:
Overall, the Americans, politically, experienced a larger amount of change when they faked a new government. Economically, the American society did not experienced much change but they did experience more change in socially which involved women and slaves.
Why did the American Revolution take place?
The American Revolution took place because the british parliament was taking advantages of its colonies payments for the war debt from the French and Indian War. The American colonists had began to make progress to make their own national identity and did not think that it was fair that they had to pay taxes.
The changes after the Revolution:
After the American Revolution, the colonies became independent and they had their own government and George Washington was president. They were now a free and democratic country after fighting the war.
